Join our team in Mozambique! We are scouting for an experienced Head Chef, with
Diploma in professional cooking, holding foundation degree in Culinary Arts Health and safety food hygiene certification. Proven 5 years’ experience as head chef, computer literate (MS Office system) Restaurant management software (P.O.S SYSTEMS)
Successful candidate must be able to:
- Controlling and directing the food preparation and presentation process.
- Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
- Overall responsibility for kitchen daily operations.
- Maintaining and raising the food profit margins.
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels and ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
- Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
- Estimating cost and ensuring all purchases come with in the budgets.
- Keeping records and monitoring of food storage temperatures
