Heading Moz is recruiting for its client, an oil and gas comapany, a IT Administrator (M/F) to be based in Maputo.
Main Responsibilities:
- Installation & configuration of computer hardware operating systems & applications;
- Monitoring & maintenance of systems according to requirements including backup to minimize loss of data;
-Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software Faults;
- Provide technical support to all departments at head office and site;
- Design, plan and implement new solutions across all sections to optimize and support Local Area;
- Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Internet System;
- Manage Centralized Wireless Environment and ensure smooth technical operations in the organization;
- Conduct periodic performance tests on existing servers & improved network security by upgrading the system, applying patches and vigilant monitoring;
- Handle Domain Server, Active Directory, Web Hosting, Email Hosting & Email Backup server;
- Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy;
- Able to administer servers such TrendMicro DLP;
- Recommend software and hardware solutions comprising of upgrades and new acquisitions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Computer Science;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT;
- Microsoft Office, Virtualization (Hyper V), Computer Hardware & Networking, Troubleshooting, Windows Installation & Configuration, Knowledge of ISMS Policies & Procedures;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
