Heading is recruiting an Occupational Health and Safety Technician (m/f) for Boane, Mozambique.
Roles
· Ensure compliance with the health and safety control plans in the development of the company's activities
· Ensure compliance with working conditions capable of maintaining a good level of health for the company's employees and workers
· Comply with WHO standards on the verification of health and safety conditions at work, with a view to ensuring the physical, mental and social well-being of workers
· Identify and control working conditions that may harm workers' health
· Develop actions to combat occupational diseases
· Plan periodic study, assessment and risk control activities in all the company's day-to-day operations
· Develop and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety plans
· Develop and implement prevention and protection activities against professional risks, with a view to safeguarding the safety and health of workers
· Support the manager in complying with ISO9001 standards
· Assist in on-job training of methods of dissemination of health and safety standards, as well as technical matters of health and safety at work
Requirements
· High School completed
· Minimum 2 years of work experience in functions
· Knowledge of ISO9001 standards
· Fluent in Portuguese and basics of English
· Computer knowledge from the user's perspective (Internet and Excel)
