Vacancy Announcement
Good Neighbors Mozambique is seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the organization using Quickbooks. The accountant will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirement.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Accountant Officer
Principal Location: Maputo
Main Duties &
Responsibilities (AO)
- Manage financial records and transactions using
Quickbooks;
- Prepare financial reports, including balance
sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
- Assist in the preparation of budget and execution
report;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and
reporting;
- Assist with audits and other financial reviews;
- Provide financial support to management and staff.
To qualify
you need
- Education background in accounting, finance, or a
related field;
- At least 3 years of experience working with
Quickbooks;
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and
regulatory compliance;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
LANGUAGES Required: Fluency in English, Portuguese (both spoken and written)
