The key purpose of this role is to perform a specific task as E&F Boiler Operator (a limited number of or closely related) which is highly specific to objective and content and does not involve the supervision of others.
Key outputs and responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement production plan for shift as PO
- Monitor boiler production processes in the E&F plant on shift
- Ensure boiler process quality and productivity
- Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Co-ordinate autonomous maintenance and cleaning
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
- Ensure application of administration systems and procedures
- Contribute to self and team development
- Apply problem solving and decision making techniques and principles
Key attributes and competencies:
- Degree in Mechanic or Electric
- Basic human relations skills i.e. ordinary courtesy and effectiveness in dealing with others.
- Concern for safety, tidiness and cleanliness.
- Able to read simple instructions and standardized forms of limited content
- Basic writing ability.

- Elementary education.
Experience.
- 2 to 6 weeks on the job training.
