ABOUT MOZAL:

Mozal, SA is a benchmark for mega-projects in developing countries; located in Maputo Province, Mozal produces high-quality, primary aluminium for the domestic and export markets.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

As a Specialist Data Analysis & Reporting, you will be the Primary role for HSERSQ reporting, data analysis and interpretation.

Establishes reporting requirements in line with legislation, South32 reporting, international obligations and Operational HSERSQ performance;

Designs and improves dashboards and reporting systems and improved methods of data analysis;

Daily, weekly, monthly, biannual and annual HSERSQ reporting and data analytics;

Participates in assurance activities to validate the integrity and quality of HSERQ data;

Conducts assurance activities for site source data as part of related assurance activities.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

•Record transactional data within as required by legislation, Group Level documentation and international obligations;

•Communicate identified improvement opportunities to direct supervisor and support the deployment of identified initiatives;

•Participate in the execution of the HSERSQ system assurance programme relevant to HSERSQ data integrity;

•Request updates to Work management Master Data and associated procedures as required to ensure safe, timely and accurate execution of reporting activities;

•Where justified develop processes and systems to record, analyse and report HSERSQ related data;

•Coach and mentor HSERSQ function team members to deliver against performance targets;

•Responsible for HSERSQ data integrity in Global 360 (G360);

•Daily, weekly, monthly, biannual and annual HSERSQ reporting and data analytics;

•Reporting and data analytics from site level down to team and individual level;

•Provide MRR deep dives data packs;

•Provide event investigation data and trends.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

•Minimum two years of experience in the field of industrial HSERSQ;

•Experience in a smelting, process or manufacturing environment;

•Experience in data analysis and reporting;

•Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Relevant Technical Degree or Diploma or a fully completed & related qualification in data analytics.
